CD Analasis

I have researched into my music choice category. The two main music organisations involved in Dance music is Hed Kandi and Ministry Of Sound.

This is a CD cover for a Hed Kandi compilation CD. The colours used are bright and stand out against a dark background which suggests neon lighting against the night sky, which is usually the scene for this type of music. The drawing in the centre is of a young woman holding a music player with the Hed Kandi Logo on the screen. She looks relaxed and cool like she is enjoying the music and it suggests that if you buy and listen to this album you can be too.

The other big name in dance music is Ministry of sound. This
CD has the distinctive logo in the middle but have replaced the main circle in the centre with a disco ball to represent that funky house is a different type of music compared to other dance genres. It also has a dark background with fluorescent neon lighting to demonstrate bright lights on a dark night out. The title is also done in a neon lighting style which can be matched to club logo's on the doors.

Dance music is widely known as the music for nights out and club holidays such as Ibiza.
